On 10th December 2025, it was an honour to be invited by Doordarshan Kendra to discuss the significant investments being made by global organisations in the IT and semiconductor sectors.
The discussion focused on how increasing international investments in technology infrastructure, semiconductor manufacturing, and digital innovation are strengthening India’s position as a global technology and manufacturing hub. With rapid advancements in Artificial Intelligence, electronics, data infrastructure, and chip design, the semiconductor sector is emerging as a strategic driver of economic growth and technological self-reliance.
The conversation also highlighted the importance of policy support, research and development, skilled talent, and industry-academia collaboration in attracting long-term global investments and building a robust innovation ecosystem. As multinational organisations continue to expand their operations and partnerships in India, the country is steadily positioning itself as a key destination for next-generation technology development and digital transformation.
